Try J-Express

J-Express comes in a free version that is fully functional and enables you to use a lot of features. Some features are however disabled in the downloadable version and must be unlocked with a license key. This key is a small file with license information that can be purchased online and put together with the J-Express files. Read more at the licenses page

To try all the J-express features, you can load the test dataset installed together with J-Express. When using this project, all features will be available so that you can see how the various methods works before you decide to buy the licenses. See more on the license page.

The methods needing a license are:

  • GeneSet Enrichment Analysis - GSEA
  • Significance analysis of microarrays
  • Gaussian kernels and class prediction
  • Pathway analysis
  • Gene ontology analysis
  • Cell cycle analysis
  • General clustering
  • General projection
  • Fold change
  • Feature selection
  • Sequence mapping
These can all be used to analyse the dataset installed together with J-Express (in the installed data folder there is a test dataset called testproject.pro).
If you would like to develop plugins to J-Express and share these through the j-express web, you can apply for a free license. If the plugin is of value for other users, we will provide you with a full featured single user annual J-Express license without charge.
