J-Express 2011 released
We are proud and happy to release J-Express 2011, a major milestone in the J-Express history. In this release we have spent a lot of developing resources on debugging the core functionality and ensuring quality in the main application framework. We have also focused our efforts on utilizing all the unused computer power found in most desktop computers with multiple CPUs and cores. Writing good multithreaded algorithms and methods is not easy, but our development team has many years experience with multithreaded programming for life sciences. Microarray analysis can also be very demanding in regards to computer memory. Writing smart software that uses as little memory as possible without reducing performance is key, and this has been one of our goals for this release. Finally, putting all the advanced scientific methods with hundreds of different options into a single usable framework that gently guides the user to superior results has always been a stretch goal for our usability architects. With J-Express 2011 we think we have succeeded even greater than the former releases.
Another update of J-Express 2009 released
J-Express 2009 is contantly being updated with new features and updated old features. This includes a new sequence analysis module that enables combination of SAM and FSS with the sequence mapper to add Q-scores,
ANOVA scores, t-scores, Fold change etc. to be overlaid the sequence images to see where in a sequence the scores are higher or lower than average. See more in
this presentation.
J-Express 2009 released
The next version of J-Express is now ready for download and has been called J-Express 2009. We are happy to provide this release to our old and new customers after a long development and testing period.
