mulitplatform: For all non-windows operation system such as Mac, Linux Unix etc. with a Java runtime environment. You may have to install java 6.0 first (see www.java.com). Typical way of starting the installer is by double-clicking the setup.jar file or executing with the command java -jar setup.jar. There have been some reports from Mac users getting a message saying : java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file when running the installer. This happens if your Mac is running a java version earlier than version 6.0. To resolve this, choose the correct java version in your java preferences.
Windows: Should work on all versions of MS Windows, but you may have to install (or upgrade to) java 6.0 first (see www.java.com).
