Some of the features in J-Express are locked and must be unlocked with a license key. For full licenses such as perpetual and site licenses, this is done by ordering a license file from molmine by sending a mail to sales@molmine.com. When this file is put in the J-Express user folder, it will unlock all features in J-Express. It can be copied to other computers and will work on all platforms simultaneously (e.g. Windows, mac or unix).
Annual single licenses can be purchased directly from the molmine website and consist of a license key number.
Here is how this is done:
First, go to the order page and click the Add to order button on the license package you want. For instance, to get a full license, click the button to the right of Full license. To get one or more of the other licenses, click the Add to order button to the right of the package you want. Note, You must click the button once (and only once) for each package you want.
When you click a Add to order button, a new window from PayPal will open that contains the current status of your order. It is very important to check that the Quantity for each item is 1 and not more as you can only order one of each license package for each purchase (and paypal does not let us set this limit from molmine).
To remove a license package, check the Remove box and click Update chart to add more license packages, go back to the molmine license page and click the Add to order button on the other packages you want.
When the Shopping Cart list contains all the license packages you want, click Proceed to checkout to finish the order
If you have a Paypal account, you can use this, if not, you can click Continue under the Don't have a PayPal account to pay with a credit card.
When the payment is complete, you will get a window like this:
This is all you need to activate the purchased license packages.
Activating J-Express license packages
To activate a license package, start J-Express and open the License window under the Help menu.
Click the Add license packages button.
Enter the exact information you got from the order response page into the License editor fields and table and click ok.
Make sure all the licenses you ordered are now green. To copy the license to other computers, you can use the same procedure (enter the license information into the license editor on the other computer), or you can copy the Cert.dta file to the J-Express folder on the other computer.
